About the role:

We have a great opportunity for you! West London College is currently looking for a dynamic and visionary individual to join us as our Head of Learner Experience. This is a crucial position that will help us achieve excellence in education by making sure that every learner's journey is transformative, engaging, and empowering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and coordinate an inclusive employability and careers programme/calendar for all learners and apprentices. including themed events such as job fairs and HE fairs throughout the college year.
  •  To develop and coordinate an inclusive enrichment programme with a diverse timetable of clubs and learner societies for all learners and apprentices.
  •  To build strong relations with external stakeholders such as employers to provide the best opportunities for our learners through schedules for enrichment and career events, ensuring alignment with college goals and learner needs.
  • To coordinate logistics, resources, and staffing requirements for each event and oversee the execution to ensure smooth operations ending with a review and evaluation of the effectiveness of planned events, making adjustments as necessary.
  • To promptly address learner concerns and feedback, maintain a learner-facing approach and demonstrate a genuine interest in fostering broader enrichment and career development opportunities for learners and apprentices to excel and thrive.
