About the role:

We are seeking to recruit an experienced curriculum manager to take on this exciting and varied role as Head of Department at our Construction Centre of Excellence based at Southall Community College. You will have extensive knowledge and experience within your area of expertise, and a wider experience of managing a range of craft trades, building services and motor vehicle maintenance. We offer Brick, Carpentry, Electrical, Plastering, Plumbing and Property maintenance to young and adult learners and a growing number of apprentices. Our Motor Vehicle department offers level 1 - 3 IMI qualifications.

We need your passion and commitment to lead this department and deliver outstanding outcomes for our community. We need a self-starter who can engage with a wide range of stakeholders and develop industry-relevant programmes of study to enable our learners to secure bright and successful futures.

We have excellent facilities, and the centre is ready for the new manager to make their mark in establishing us the best offer in West London. Our staff are committed and hard-working and need your guidance and drive to deliver excellent learning opportunities. The college needs your focus, eye for detail and timely project management.
