The appointed candidate will ensure our Special Education Needs and Disability learners are supported throughout their entire study cycle with West London College. The wellbeing and safeguarding of our learners are essential, and as a Foundation Learning Lecturer, the role involves providing education, training and skills development within a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished lecturer with experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and monitoring each learner’s progress using Google Classroom by setting targets and creating progression plans tailored to individual aspirations and skills. They will have experience managing and creating professional relationships with the learner’s parents/carers, external agencies, the Heads of Departments and Deputy Heads. Experience in managing multiple projects, accurate record keeping, handling sensitive information and upholding confidentiality are also essential.
