About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assessor/Lecturer in CSPS to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting, teaching, delivering and assessing standards in the workplace in line with NCFE standards.

Your role will involve carrying out regular planned assessments both at employer premises and within the College, ensuring the integrity of the assessment process. You will guide learners to produce work-based evidence for their portfolios, ensure timely completion of qualifications, and maintain accurate learner records.

In addition to assessing, you will tutor and mentor learners, adapting your teaching and assessment methods to meet individual needs, arranging and conducting meetings with other staff teaching on the same programmes, and ensuring a high standard of learner support.

You will also monitor learner progress, conduct review meetings, and work closely with employers to maintain strong relationships. This will include learner recruitment, ensuring candidates and employers understand qualification requirements, and supporting learners to achieve their goals.

As part of the role, you will uphold quality assurance standards, attend team and standardisation meetings, liaise with the Internal Verifier, participate in EQA visits, and keep your CPD updated. You will also play a role in promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, and the College’s values in all aspects of your work.
