About the role:

Are you an experienced Beauty professional ready to inspire the next generation of industry talent?

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beauty Lecturer to join our Hair & Beauty – Service Industries team. You will deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment across a range of Beauty study programmes, ensuring learners receive an engaging, industry-relevant and supportive learning experience.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic theoretical and practical lessons in Beauty therapy
  • Design schemes of work and assessment materials in line with awarding body requirements
  • Assess learner work fairly and provide timely, constructive written feedback
  • Act as a Personal Tutor, delivering the tutorial programme and supporting learner progress
  • Monitor attendance, retention and achievement to drive positive outcomes
  • Prepare learners for progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study
  • Organise enrichment activities, external visits and work placements
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes
  • Embed English and Maths within teaching and learning
  • Contribute to recruitment activities including open evenings and interviews
  • You will play a key role in maintaining professional standards within the salon environment, ensuring health and safety compliance, safeguarding, equality and diversity are embedded in all aspects of delivery.
