Are you a confident and experienced Administrative Assistant?

West London College is seeking a proactive, highly organised and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient operations across our college departments, with a particular focus on exceptional service delivery, discretion, and organisation.

About Us:

At West London College we are dedicated to achieving ambitious goals and delivering excellence for our learners, staff and communities. With a firm commitment to inclusion, innovation and collaboration, we aim to transform lives through high-quality education and skills training. We have three college sites based in Hammersmith, Ealing and Southall. By bringing your skills and experience to the College, you will have an opportunity to contribute towards our success through our mission of “Aiming High, Changing Lives”. In return, we offer a supportive and stimulating work environment with a range of benefits and professional development opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering high-quality administrative support to the Executive Support and Administration teams

• Managing schedules, documents, and correspondence with accuracy and speed

• Maintaining internal systems and the college portal with up-to-date and well-organised information

• Handling confidential matters with professionalism

• Prioritising competing tasks and deadlines with calm efficiency

• Working closely with staff across the college to support the delivery of high-quality education

What we’re looking for:

This is not an entry-level role - We’re looking for someone who brings a professional polish, proven administrative experience, and the confidence to support senior staff in a fast-paced environment.

• A proven track record in a similar administrative role (education or public sector preferred)

• Confident written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable using MS Office and digital systems for diary management, document creation, and data entry

• Able to prioritise, multi-task and stay organised in a busy environment

• A helpful, positive, and professional attitude

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong administrator who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and thrives in a professional, mission-driven setting.

What We Offer:

At West London College, we’re on a mission to change lives through education — and we know we can’t do that without talented people behind the scenes. When you join our support staff, you become a vital part of the learner journey. In return, we offer:

• A supportive and welcoming workplace culture

• Continuous professional development

• Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)

• Access to Perkbox (employee rewards and benefits)

• Season ticket and cycle-to-work loan schemes

• College Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

• Discounts at our on-site hair and beauty salons
